Burnout

The flame once burned so bright,
Now flickers in the night.
The passion once so strong,
Has slowly faded, gone.

The fire that once ignited,
Now seems to have subsided.
The spark that once inspired,
Now seems to have expired.

The burnout has set in,
And everything feels like a sin.
The dreams that once seemed so real,
Now seem impossible to feel.

The darkness has set in,
And hope seems like a dream.
The light that once shone so bright,
Now feels like a mere sight.

But know that the flame can reignite,
With the power of hope and might.
The passion can once again burn,
And the dreams can once again return.

So don't give up, don't give in,
For the burnout is just a phase within.
And with patience, love, and care,
The flame can once again be a flare.

The burnout may feel like the end,
But it's just a chance to mend.
And with a little bit of grace,
The flame can once again find its place.
