Let it shine

Let me whisper a secret, come close, let's begin,
Not everyone's a fan, it’s not a sin.
Through life's vast halls, as you wander and weave,
Some will dismiss, some may not believe.

But here's a tune, a rollicking song,
It matters none if they don't sing along.
For you’re not here to gather applause,
Or win each heart, or champion every cause.

Ignore the eyes that roll, the backs that turn,
There’s a vibrant dance in the lessons you learn.
No seat at their table? Dance on your own,
The beat of your heart, let it be known.

Here's the refrain, loud and true,
What others think, should not trouble you.
You’re here to sing your own sweet melody,
Live out your dreams, embrace your destiny.

When doubt tiptoes in as you step through the door,
Remember this rhythm—it matters no more.
Those who matter, they dance along,
They cheer your name in life’s throng.

Cherish the joys, hold close what's dear,
Build a life of values, far from fear.
Not everyone’s chorus will sing your tune,
But your true bandmates will join in soon.

So tap your feet, let your soul take flight,
Shine your light, dance through the night.
Let the doubters fade, mere shadows in the past,
Live fully, love deeply, as long as life lasts.
