Grace

Out of desire to express gratitude;

In shadows deep, where darkness dwells,
I wandered lost, in private hells.
Blinded by my own despair,
unseen the pain, I made you bear.

Yet through my night, your hope endured,
with silent prayers, your love ensured.
Wishes whispered, hearts remained,
hoping I would break the chains!

Emerging from that pitch-black sight,
I saw your love, your endless light.
No substitute in life compares,
to love like yours, beyond repair.

A sacrifice so pure and true,
to give what you have given, too.
For you, dear Maggie, I would die,
Your love, the beacon in my sky.

Thank You, Love, for standing by,
For You, through all, we would comply.
In this life, and far beyond,
Your Love, our guide, our sacred bond.
