In chasms deep where light is rare,
Where stillness chills the murky air,
Shapes sway faintly in the gloom,
Lost voices whisper from their tombs.

Deep within the shadowed clasp,
Bound by caverns that clutch and grasp,
Sounds of labour softly ring,
Traces of a muted thing.

Tales that fade in silence deep,
Mere outlines where shadows creep,
Of the steadfast, fierce, and free,
Lost beneath eternity.

Only the eternal frame,
Holds the echoes of their name,
Those who strove with heart and hand,
Bound within a hidden land.

With grit and soul, they faced the fray,
In the dark where night holds sway,
Pushing on through endless task,
Their legacy a fading mask.

Tales that faded into silent depths,
Mere outlines now where shadows crept,
Of the steadfast, fierce, and free,
Lost beneath eternity.
