Lord, I’m a lamp left swaying in the wind,
A faint little flame, grown weary and thinned.
My oil is gone, my wick’s burned low —
I wander like a shadow, nowhere to go.

I stare at the stars in the silence of night,
Their witness still stirs my soul to fight:
Will You still find me, though broken and small —
A powerless child who just longs for Your call?

O Lord, I plead — let Your light touch my face,
Through shadows of shame, through tears I can’t trace.
Break through the silence, the fear, the disguise —
Shine on my heart, let my name start to rise.

Without Your light, I am dust on the breeze,
A song without tune, a voice lost with ease.
But if You lift me with Your light like before,
I’ll live again, with purpose and more.

Not for my glory, not for my fame —
But only to honour Your radiant Name.
Though I am small, with a flickering gleam,
Let me reflect You — pure and redeemed.
