At Ellis Park, the All Blacks took their stance,
But the Boks and their fans had different plans.
“Ka Mate!” the All Blacks started roaring, fierce and in sync,
But then the local DJ cranked up, and the haka got jinxed.

“Sister Bethina” boomed, and the crowd took control,
Springbok pride rose, turning the haka to rock and roll.
Fireworks popped, planes roared under African skies,
The All Blacks lost control, their haka compromised.

SA Rugby chuckled, “sorry we stole the show,
didn’t mean to out-dance ya, but hey, now you know!”
In South Africa’s house, rugby’s more than a game,
It’s a dance-off of legends,
Fit only for the kings in rugby’s hall of fame!
