Once a young man with eyes so bright,
A heart wide open, a soul alight.
Trusting in all, so easily deceived,
Unaware of the shadows that lurk to mislead.

The blades cut deep, the wounds ran wide,
Long nights endured, too weary to cry.
But scars soon formed a shield, steadfast, strong,
Each pain now a truth, where lies cease to belong.

From victim’s sorrow to wisdom’s flame,
The soul grew stronger, refined by the pain.
Blow after blow made the strikes lose their sting,
Where fear once lingered, resilience took wing.

Now stands a giant, gaze steady and clear,
A spirit forged through trial and fear.
A heart now bears its scars with pride,
Each mark a testament to battles inside.

The fire that burned shaped the soul anew,
Wisdom was sown, and character grown.
In the depths of pain, a light did shine,
A heart now unshaken, resolved, and divine.
