I walk alone, but never lost, Through ash and iron, storm and cost. Not for the crowd, nor fame’s loud ring— I answer to a higher King.
I’ve bled in mines and battled doubt, Felt silence louder than a shout. Carried weight no man could see, With truth and duty tethered to me.
They called me blunt, said I don’t bend— But spines don’t crack when they don’t pretend. I speak in lines both sharp and clean, Not polished lies or plastic sheen.
I love one woman, deeply, whole— She’s been the light behind this soul. My sons? I raise them not to kneel— But stand, with grit that’s forged in steel.
I trust in God, but not in man, Not governments with shaky plans. I see the rot behind the rules, The cowards crowned as kings and fools.
But still I build, I mine, I lead— Not for applause, but for the need. To carve a future bold and free, Before the dark lays claim on me.
So if you ask what fuels this fire— It isn’t rage, or lost desire. It’s this: I know what matters most— To guard what’s mine, not chase a ghost.
Welcome to My Lasting Minutes. Here I share my poetry, stories, songs, and reflections on life. My hope is to turn a minute of thought into something that outlasts me — and leaves behind something worth remembering.
