Alone in the silence of my room, I feel the weight of my endless gloom. No laughter, no love, no one in sight, Just the emptiness of a sleepless night.
The clock ticks on, time crawling by, As I lay here and wonder why I am cursed with this crushing pain, This loneliness that drives me insane.
Memories flood my restless mind, Of a life I left so far behind. Of friends and family, once so near, Now distant and fading, no longer here.
The darkness closes in on me, As I drown in my own misery. Desperate for a hand to hold, A heart to love, to break this mold.
But no one comes, no one to save, I am alone, a forgotten wave. Tormented by this endless strife, I pray for a way to escape this life.
But until then, I lay here alone, In this endless torment, in this empty home. Wishing and hoping for a better tomorrow, When my heart will no longer be filled with sorrow.
Welcome to My Lasting Minutes. Here I share my poetry, stories, songs, and reflections on life. My hope is to turn a minute of thought into something that outlasts me — and leaves behind something worth remembering.
