Walk and work stand by the door, Walk asks work what he's troubled for. This morning, says work, my spirits are slack, The spirit is willing, but the flesh holds me back.
Come, said walk to work, sit down by my side, Let me show you how to turn the tide. Though times are tough and your sighs are so deep, The Lord will guard you, His promises He'll keep.
Learn to praise Him every day, He’ll never take His blessings away. When hardships come, don’t turn and flee, Run to Him, for He sets you free.
People may change, but He’s always true, And so is His grace and love for you.
Welcome to My Lasting Minutes. Here I share my poetry, stories, songs, and reflections on life. My hope is to turn a minute of thought into something that outlasts me — and leaves behind something worth remembering.
